time for reflection

so it is said that a blog dies when there hasnt been a post in 1 months time.  its been 6 for me,  i guess i shouldnt bother checking the pulse...

RUNAWAY

this post is really late.  not only do i realize that tiff is over, i also realize that no one seems to care about tiff after week 1 (week 2 is actually the best time to see the films imho)  so this is doubly late.  but every year we try to catch at least one film, even if we're feeling lazy, or incredibly busy and this year we ended up at the AGO to see Short Cuts Canada Programme 3. all the shorts were so good, me and my friend could not agree on a favorite.  Cordell Barker's Runaway was mine.  Here is a one minute teaser of a 8 minute film.  Don't worry it doesn't give it all away. 

blog observation

i am WAY too lazy to have a blog.  I'm on post #7 and i'm already finding it hard to update.  Its not that i don't have things i want to write about, but actually getting myself to do it feels like a chore... yet i took the time to write this awesome post.

i'm clearly conflicted, and probably should have my blogging rights taken away.  but i see other out there have equally puzzling blog confilicts, like this guy

Royksopp - Poor Leno. I heard this yesterday while shopping. Its been a while since i first listened to this song, its pretty rare for me to be listening to any electronic music at all. But right away it took me back to the great music video they had. Especially the cup clanging at 2:36.

as my dad calls it. remember film? well, its still thriving and well. don't you miss the excitement of not knowing how your photo's will turn out until they're developed OR taking a photo of your friends without needing to get everyone's ok before taking the next pic? FILM is the answer. I just found this vivitar pn2011 the other day at value village for $3! i think many folk would agree that i may have paid too much, as it could be found NEW at the dollarama just a few months back. but since i havent yet found a cheap uws, this will do for the time being. i even got an old roll of film from a friend! i'll post my results. hopefully with some vignetting and lens flare.
